Gruber Prizes

The International Prize Program honors contemporary individuals in the fields of Cosmology, Genetics, Neuroscience, Justice and Women's Rights, whose groundbreaking work provides new models that inspire and enable fundamental shifts in knowledge and culture.

Cosmology Prize . . .
...for theoretical, analytical, conceptual or observational discoveries leading to fundamental advances in our understanding of the universe
 
Justice Prize . . .
...advancing the cause of Justice as delivered through the legal system
 
Genetics Prize . . .
...in recognition of groundbreaking contributions to any realm of genetics research
 
Women's Rights Prize . . .
...advancing human rights around the world by emphasizing those of women and girls
 
Neuroscience Prize . . .
...for major discoveries that have advanced the understanding of the nervous system
 
Young Scientists Awards . . .
...fostering the next generation of scientific discovery
 
 
 
 

With the exception of the Rosalind Franklin Young Investigator Award, which specifically supports women researchers, all awards are presented without respect to gender, nationality, race, ethnicity, or religious creed.
