HOW
TO APPLY
The
Peter and Patricia Gruber Foundation generally makes one-time lump sum
grants to 501 (c) 3 schools, programs and organizations in December
of each year. Ordinarily, the foundation limits each agency to one grant
request within a 12 month period. An agency must file an evaluation
report with the foundation office for any previous foundation grant
before a new grant request will be considered. Applications may be submitted
at any time during the calendar year, but must reach our offices by
November 1 for full consideration.
All requests for funding should include:
- The
purpose of the grant (justification of need, specific goals, planned
activities, expected outcomes, and timeline for completion)
- The
name of a contact person
- The
qualifications of key staff
- The
project budget
- The
amount of funds requested.
In
addition, applicants should be prepared to provide overall organizational
and budget information, if applicable, as well as supporting documents,
which include a copy of IRS determination letter confirming the organization's
status under section 501 (c) 3.
